Story on BBC Radio years ago; an employee putting his expenses in and one item refused by his manager. This went on for many months, same item, refused. Then claim went in, no "dodgy" item. Called in by manager and asked "where's the xyz "? Reply; "it's on there somewhere but you wont find it!!"

Just wait until the "means testing" (whether by Labour or whoever is in power) sets its sights on the state pension paid to those also in receipt of private pensions, as will inevitably happen. A vote winner? Political suicide more like.

Depends who your pensioner friends are doesnt it? Are they pensioners with private pensions too so the loss of £300 or so is mitigated. There'll be plenty of pensioners with just the state pension who have lost the WFP and who dont have a voice on social media/the press to shout their anger.

Sangita "going" was reason I stopped listening to most of LBC. Particularly dissapointed with O'Bs lack of support but "keeping his well paid spot" would be his nr 1 thought. Still listen to him and his "discreet" digs at LBC and presenters. Enjoyed this too..
