We tend to have a vocal misplaced sense of superiority over Americans. It comes from being so intertwined culturally while still being separate.

me and my wife kinda riff on it to one another in private, but I don’t badmouth my wife to anyone, she is precious to me in ways that I wouldn’t want anyone to misinterpret

Only know Slim Pickins because my wife listens to it. Fun song, but not really what I listen to.

A woman I work with told me she has fake 7 and 10 implants because she just never had adult teeth that grew in that place. Never knew that could happen!

“Drivers love killing pedestrians” obviously an exaggerated statement but everyone thinks that it can’t and won’t happen to them, but it happens to people every day, individual tragedies where someone fucking *dies*

the trick is to know ahead of time when your razor is on the way out, and plant the seeds early of needing a new one as a gift from a loved one

I kinda get it, some amount of identity is wrapped up in your vocal range. I am imagining every choir guy that has had to switch from Tenor to Baritone having this same struggle internally :P

Respectfully how is the photo quality this low? Wasn’t this bit from the past 1-2 years, and tremendously underutilized?

That post reminds me of when I got my vasectomy and the doctor put on a nu-metal playlist while doing the procedure.

This is the thing I don’t understand about him. He posted his way out of a shot at elected office. Why do people engage with him at all? He’s literally just some guy.

Please do not censor his name out of courtesy to those who have his name blocklisted :P

to be fair, the cut away to him yelling "I hate you" at a car driving by was fucking funny as hell

It sounds like the decision to split the video into two distinct parts has muddied the intended message of the work. I appreciated the video if even I was not entirely convinced by a some of the arguments.

NDP forced Trudeau to pass child care and health care legislation, notable legislative victories in NDP history, but the cost of legislating Canada Post’s union back to work was high. NDP needs to rally around unified modern social & labour problems like housing.

something with wanting to meet up with another content creator and not realizing he was overestimating a friendship that was just acquaintanceship, and coming across as creepy. A bit cringe but it’s an experience you learn from and move past, but of course the internet does not forget or forgive

I’m so confused, I have his name as a blocked word and the past week I have suddenly seen so many damn posts about him.
He literally posted so hard that he lost a shot at winning an elected office and shouldn’t be taken seriously by anyone.

Books that are written to make the parents of the children feel like they are enriching them with “good” information, rather than stuff that the kids will actually latch onto and foster an enjoyment for reading. My oldest is 7 and he reads silly books but he loves them and he loves reading.
