I can relate, but at my core, I'm still quite soft. It's not that I believe people are inherently good or anything (not anymore, anyway), but that the softness is central to who I truly am, and to let anyone take that from me would be like a death.

The concrete evidence is that, with Biden in office and control of the senate, they failed to codify women's rights, failed to get the people affordable health care, failed to protect LGBTQAI+ people. I could go on, but most Democrats are just Republican light. Less hate, but no motivation.

It doesn't help that Jeffries is more worried about decorum during two hour speeches from a bloated, disgusting, lying shit sack than actually working on a call to action to combat this nightmare we are in. Jeffries needs to be replaced by someone who will DO SOMETHING. ANYTHING.

Appreciated :)

It can be both of these things. Garland was feckless and Trump went unchecked straight to the presidency. However, the Dems clearly are offering nothing to inspire the people they're supposed to be representing. Tear it down and rebuild with people like AOC, Murphy, Crockett, Porter, Frost.

That's the problem right there. You can't reach across the aisle to people who stand there with machetes to cut off your hand. As far as I'm concerned, MAGA is the enemy, and you don't consort with the enemy, you work to defeat them.

Going to the center means "democrat in republican clothing". It's worthless and gets nothing done. Joe did some good things, but we could have had Bernie, and I'll never forgive the Dems for shoving him aside for uninspiring candidates.

She tows the line. She secretly worked behind the scenes to back Connolly as oversight leader, a 74 year old man with cancer, over AOC who is young, vibrant and on the pulse of the people. Pelosi needs to go far away.

Thank you for this! ☺️Mine is a little poetry chapbook that you can get for $8 from a wonderful micro-press. If you like very personal/tenderhearted poetry, you might like my chapbook. payhip.com/b/dowtz

I hope you're right, Max. The cult will still follow dear leader.

It seems ok here so far. I haven't run into any rude people yet, so that's a plus. I've mostly avoided social media for my mental health, which is sketchy to begin with.

My chapbook has made 0 dollars. I'm still glad I did it, even if no one reads it, which is possible.

"Trump supporters" and "civil" do not go together. Sorry.
