Not too sure about the US pricing but here in the EU from BerryBase I'm able to get the bare cards for 3.50eur exc VAT. I'm not using these solely on Raspberry Pi SBCs so it's all good!

I won't lie to you, Michael, it was torture, but I wanted to try and be a little positive about it 😅

Awesome! Glad to hear it, Les. If you could write an article on how to configure such willpower, I'd like to read it 😅

True! I've always been curious about the TuringPi but I can't justify the cost of it "just because". I can't say I'm a massive fan of their marketing on socials either but maybe I'm just grumpy :D

Perhaps, given that Argon40 are an approved reseller, they’ll use that to their advantage and offer a CM5 as part of it at a decent price? They have their own NVMe drives it seems, so I think it would be cool if they offer ready-to-go, and BYO-CM5 options!

That's my fear! :( Let's see what the Kickstarter comes up with, perhaps there'll be some nice early bird options..

Heartbreaking.. On multiple levels

No more dodgy ARM boards with questionable support to raise the blood pressure? On a serious note though, hopefully it's not too bad and you're feeling better!

Michael, why have you installed a torture device on your NVMe drive?

I'd like to thank @miroslawfolejewski.bsky.social & Mike for the opportunity, though, it was great fun playing with all of the toys and talking about Pi at MakersFaire last year. Until next time 🫡

I can see it, yeah! I was thinking it just rolled off of Orange Pi’s production line as someone’s side hustle 😅

And as I can’t include photos and videos together in one post..

No idea on the Magic front either, I just immediately thought "janky" when I saw the company name and thought most of what I do is janky, so I live a jank life.. 😅

I can't believe there wasn't a jank life joke in there somewhere! 🥲

God damn 😅 well if it’s all working, I’m really confused as to why it wasn’t just done in the factory. Oh wait 💸 😄
