Getting Started

Personally I am unfamiliar with any legitimate activity that requires switching license plates, which by the way is illegal.

The shrugging. The pulling the guy up by his collar after learning they fucked up. The masks and anonymity ensuring they’ll never be held accountable (not that it was likely, anyway). We are turning into a “papers, please” country. And it’s the banality and nonchalance that’s most terrifying.

Compton, CA: A masked, heavily-armed man wearing body armor jumped out of a SUV today to kidnap a local resident. He forgot to put the vehicle in park, causing it to roll down the street damaging other cars. He jumped in the vehicle (which had no platess) and drove off without identifying himself.

The Minnesota shooter apparently used data broker websites to find the home addresses of the people he shot and murdered. Congress has had years to do something about data brokers and they've sided with the tech lobby over and over again. Their inaction is deadly.

If a non-citizen has no right to contest their removal because the government claims that they’re in a Venezuelan gang, what’s to stop the government from claiming that *we’re* in a Venezuelan gang? That’s the most elementary reason why due process matters: www.stevevladeck.com/p/bonus-133-...

anyway periodic reminder that congress can at any time they wish, and should tomorrow, end this
