Maybe he should use some of Elon's subsidy money to restore the NASA budget his Big Belligerent Budget gutted, including a 47% cut to their science research projects. Just a thought....

I say it all the time: "common sense is a myth."

Absolutely. The only good thing about the administration is the effect it has had on my meditation practice. It was on & off --mostly off-- for decades prior to inauguration 2017. Since then I haven't missed a single day. You can't take care of others if you don't take care of yourself first.

I absolutely love everything about her, but AOC simply cannot be our next President. It pains me deeply to say so, but if we want any chance of winning, our next nominee has got to be a man. He also needs to be white, straight, and likely should not be Jewish. To pretend otherwise is pure folly.

Sure, it's very definitely something to aspire to. But in my experience that's not what people mean when they say it. People say it as if it's a fact, which it is clearly not.

I've been saying for years that everybody needs to stop saying "no one is above the law." That was never true in the first place, and currently it's becoming progressively less true every day.

As a Times reader for 30+ years, the final straw for me was how they chose to cover the Harris campaign. I was very reluctant and terribly sad to cancel my subscription. But curiously, after the first few days I found I didn't really miss it. Months later, I'm actually happy about it.

Whenever possible, I intend to avoid referring to him at all. But when I have to, I will be referring to him exclusively as The Rapist In Chief

I've been saying this my whole adult life.

Over the next four years the Republican party will be doing whatever is humanly possible to try to get everything locked down so that there is no practical way they can ever be voted out of power. Not just in NC, but everywhere they can.

IMdB says the biggest movie that month was The Way We Were, but Wikipedia says the biggest box office the specific week of my birthday was a double bill of The Cheerleaders & Fritz The Cat. Hmm.

I have resolved to refer to him solely as "The Rapist In Chief" for his entire term.

I feel like I've been asking this constantly since our newly-ordained Rapist In Chief started campaigning for the 2016 election.

There is no such thing as a stolen job in the first place. Nobody can just show up in your place and start receiving your paycheck. In the highly unlikely event that any immigrant ends up in your job, it's because your boss/company *gave* your job to that immigrant.

I'm not sure any of these are "universally loved" now, but they were all extremely popular at one time, and I hated them all:
Gone With The Wind
Out Of Africa
Magnolia
Requiem For A Dream
There are others, but these come to mind immediately.

Just followed you from Twitter. If there is a New Jersey starter pack of any kind, I haven't been able to find it yet.
