Imagine being rich enough to do anything you want and choosing to take food and medicine from starving children to give yourself even more money.

When even the New York Post has to publish this, you know you fucked up.

Have the Germans invented a word to describe weather that is super pleasant in an immediate sense but is profoundly, existentially worrying in a wider context yet

No, but if you’re looking for one, I am aware of a guy you work with that was indicted four times and convicted of thirty-four felonies.

Does anyone know the denominator for this monumental balls-up? What proportion of candidates has this impacted? NB: 0.0001% will be 0.0001% too many. #medsky #MRCPisstake

This is (outwith clinically tough events) a resident doctors worst nightmare Being told TWO YEARS after an exam that "whoops, actually we've decided you didn't pass after all" An apology and a "free exam resit" is insult to injury. This is "tear down the physicians exams and start over" territory

Honestly the scale of the physicians exams "whoopsie you didn't pass/actually sorry we failed you incorrectly" disaster is so bad I think other specs colleges need to start issuing statements that amount to "We are not as incompetent as the physicians exams board and your results will not change"

Um… oops?

This is the future of postgraduate medical training. Congratulations to Dr Herath, and thank you to all the trailblazers who are pursuing portfolio pathway careers in departments and specialties which will be better off for having you in them.

I absolutely adore this sculpture. I photographed her when we were in Cornwall last year, with an ancient Olympus PEN half frame camera, and Kodak Gold film. Bit more grass "hair" in May.
