I'm trying to imagine a Democratic president saying openly and proudly that he would be sending federal agents to target the 'Republican Power Center' in Texas, Florida, and Tennessee. We would be in the midst of a civil war before he'd finished saying those words.

This is actually...compelling? Eloquent, in its way? Certainly human. And while Trump rode into office on the votes of low engagement voters, those voters by definition don't have strong internal narratives operating and can easily flip on a topic based on images and videos

Yeah my job is pretty cool. My uniform is a tactical vest that’s two sizes too small and a gaiter I bought in a gas station. They send me to sneak into schools to kidnap little kids because people got mad about having to press 1 for English. The president had to warn everyone to stop spitting on me.
