Scarlet Hollow is also brilliant.
It sounds like someone here doesn't understand what "visual novel" means, and since you're the publisher of several very successful games, I'm going to assume it's you. ;)

Counterpoint: I don't like visual novels. I love Slay the Princess. Ergo, StP is not a VN. š

Donald E. Westlake's books always remind me of my father, as he's the one who introduced me to his work.

I don't think of StP as a visual novel. This may be because I don't like visual novels, and I LOVE StP.

In my experience itās more or less 100 hours of gameplay, and that seems to track with other reports Iāve seen. Obviously, your table and playstyle can affect that a lot, but itās a good ballpark.

I'm a big fan of Eternal Lies for Trail of Cthulhu, particularly with @alexandrian.bsky.social 's "remix" adjustments. One of my favorite moments in gaming comes near the end of this campaign.

I'm pretty happy with my current setup, but I do like the idea of a table with an embedded screen to display maps/illustrations. And probably a better sound system.

Really enjoyed your character (and, indeed, the whole table). Looking forward to part 2!

literal decades trying to recreate that sandwich experience (including return visits to the same Wawa). I've gotten close, but never quite recaptured the perfect balance of flavors and textures.
Or maybe I was just really hungry, I dunno.

a natural 20 on his Cooking check, but it was magnificent.
Second, I had a roast beef sandwich on rye at the Wawa in Princeton, New Jersey that was TRANSCENDENT. Buttered rye bread, white onion sliced so thin it was transparent, Romaine lettuce and some excellent roast beef. I have spent (2/x)

I have two which are both memorable because their sources are so unlikely.
First, the best hamburger I ever ate came from a Burger King drive-thru on the Florida/Georgia border. I don't know if they accidentally got a crate of A5 Wagyu beef that day, or if the high-school griller just rolled (1/x)

The Thermian-language soundtrack for Galaxy Quest is my favorite "commitment to the bit" content in all DVD-dom.
