They could start by giving callers alternative actions aside from calling that they could do to help. People call because they feel powerless and don’t know what else to do. Surely our leaders have some ideas…?

Modernizing systems good but they’re also literally deleting datasets. That’s not efficient, our taxpayer dollars paid for those data (and many businesses and researchers use them in their day to day work)

Janno Lieber had a good response to this IMO. He basically said that if firefighters (or whoever) can’t afford to come into work that’s something they should negotiate as part of their contract. Doesn’t make sense for the MTA to be subsidizing their commutes via CP exemptions

If a white male makes a mistake, it’s an unavoidable tragedy. If a woman or minority does, it’s because diversity encourages incompetence. Given the stats here I’m going to guess unavoidable tragedy but doesn’t hurt for Trump to hedge his bets with the diversity stuff

The party (run by Seddio as a shadow boss) routinely files objections to the petitions of candidates competing with theirs in primary elections, to try to kick them off the ballot. Now Seddio will oversee the organization that reviews those objections!
