In our house, "when you hear these horns" it's time to switch over to a Spotify playlist.

We are nearly halfway through this term of office – Mr. Peters notwithstanding. If we were truly back on track, would we feel as justifiably angry as many of us feel today?
If we are to truly get "back on track" we might – just might – need to change the driver instead.

I think the main purpose is to drive folks to Bsky/FB/whatever, to check if everyone else is saying "ohh that's right, it's a test" or "OMG it really is an invasion of rats this time"

"Let's sell everything!" cries the TPU. Electricity companies, Transpower, NZ Post, KiwiRail—all on the auction block. Because privatisation worked SO WELL for power bills! Selling $100B in public assets built over generations for a quick buck. It's not prudence—it's pillaging.

Worse is 5am meetings scheduled in advance, then *cancelled* at midnight. You wake up, get dressed, and log in before finding you could have slept normally.
Ask me how I know this...
