So thrilled to see Gateway on these lists

I did. We had the kids, then I got snipped. Much more reliable (and fun) than condoms, and much safer and healthier than pharmaceutical solutions. Much less invasive than tubal ligation. Highly recommended.

We have had cardinal pairs in our yard for years. We routinely refer to them as the mom cardinal and the dad cardinal. They look very different. They nest in our trees. Two males in the yard is not unusual particularly in spring when young are finding new homes.

So the presence of two males automatically implies gay?

I don't see how two male cardinals implies gay or straight. It's not like these displays show mating behaviors. We see more than one male cardinal in our yard regularly. Some consider two male cardinals to have a spiritual meaning of divine love, unity, or partnership.

Why don't you go back to the right wing echo chamber and rejoin all of the ignorant there. You'll fit in much better.

It was considered, but Hannibal Lecter turned them down. He just couldn't lower himself to the level of being associated with someone as morally bankrupt as Trump. Even fictional serial killers have scruples.

Though most of us look at the Japanese internment during WWII as a black mark on our history, Republicans are looking to it as an instruction guide.

I enjoyed Mythbusters, but cringed each time they talked about "science" which they really did not understand very well.

COVID-19:
Before: 3.5 million, After: <500,000
Or, put another way:
COVID-19:
Before Trump: 0, After: 7 million+
If a lot of ignorant people had not decided to politicize vaccines, we would be far better now.

Yes, but approved for different uses. I'm concerned that the weight loss use is all that gets talked about, while those of us with diabetes are forgotten or ignored.

To be clear, Wegovy is the weight-loss variation with different dosing and instructions. Ozempic is being used off-label for weight loss mainly because of insurance issues. I'm on Ozempic for diabetes and it's a miracle drug for me. Without it, I would be doing daily shots of insulin by now.

Everyone thinks of Ozempic as a weight loss drug. Wegovy is the weight loss version. Ozempic is really for people like me who have type II diabetes. Medications I've used are no longer working well enough. I've been on it for several months and my blood sugar is the best it's been in years.
