Dang the texture on the foot looks nice.

Niissä kirjoissa on ihan niitä samoja mielipiteitä vähän paremmin piilotettuna. Kokeile lukea joskus jotain muuta, saatat yllättyä.

I'd love if the shirts were available outside the US too.

Love how elongated the heads are. Now I kinda want to extend the heads on some of my models.

Horrible, I love it! Where's the model from, if I may ask?

Yooooo Oishinbo rep!

While there is a lot of fighting, it's not at the core of the story. The violence is an integral part of the world, but it's there to contrast the more humane elements of the story and the characters. I went it with low expectations and was positively surprised how much more there is to it.

(Sales pitch over lol)

It's very much an emergent thing imo. While the setting isn't interesting on paper, the internal logic of the world leads to juicy juxtapositions that would not work in anything set in our world. All of the characters have way more depth than it seems at first too.

Dorohedoro is amazing though.

Also cube funny

Yeah. The cube is a synthetic recreation of the black stone of Kaaba around which these takwin creatures are grown.

Green stuff you say? My Trench Crusade WIPs have that.

No no, it's vice versa

That being said, I love (pseudo)historical ttrpgs and such. Nothing is better than using wikipedia as a source bool and having an excuse to read more history etc.

Which is ofc great for a miniature wargame. I hope that Trench doesn't establish too much stuff. And especially if they want to move outside the current known map, I hope they hire suitable consultation & sensitivity readers.

Good thread, I've been thinking about the exact same things. I feel like there's a sweet spot especially regarding this point. Too much official fluff will cause those biases to show but broad strokes with lots of room in between is very fertile ground to make your own stuff.

Dang that red face works well on the familiar! Simultaneously horrible and kinda funny because looks like whatever's in the flask blew up on it's face earlier.

I second milliput here. Lends itself to a good rocky texture when chipped after curing too.

This is extra funny because perse means ass in Finnish.

Agreed. I just couldn't resist the call of the Sultanate though. Heretic legion is up next after that.

Let's hope that I manage to keep my focus, I have like three warbands rattling around my skull.

That's an excellent skin tone! Do you happen to have a recipe? I struggle with pale skin tones, especially when there's just a head or other small area of skin visible.

Super nice! Love how the socks(?) look a bit transparent and membraneous. Very fleshy.
