That's the main reason I don't use it. Breaking news or events happen in time, not some made up algorithm.

Threads had no chance. I couldn't disassociate it from my FB and it isn't in a chronological order. It has the same algorithm problem.
Bluesky has none of those issues.

She is why I can't leave any plastic out. Last night she wanted to crunch on the lid to the aluminum pan that was going to cover the tot casserole. I swear she can smell a plastic bag on the counter.
