Extremely disappointed to see Labour effectively fabricating figures and quoting me as a source. When my (simple, full election, not a by-election prediction) model had Labour narrowly ahead of the SNP, I was not yet showing Reform figures. I have never published anything with these exact figures.

Today's life management – getting Control Centre organised on my phone. Frequent controls on page 1, then a page each for downstairs/upstairs smart tech. Only annoyance is that there's no IF statements in Apple Shortcuts so my work phone line on/off can't be one button. #tech #Apple #PhilipsHue

Sweltering day to rally for a republic on Calton Hill, Edinburgh. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿's tradition of popular sovereignty is much older than the Windsor rule of these islands. A modern, democratic nation deserves an elected head of state that represents and is answerable to us all. @ourrepublic.scot #RepublicDay

Standing room only for Bothwell Futures AGM this evening.

Matching lighting on my desk, keyboard and controller are really tingling my brain right now.

It was devastating to hear this morning that Christina McKelvie MSP had passed away. She was an absolute gem. Even when I was just some wee guy in the party, she always made every interaction feel like a real conversation, not the usual political patter. My thoughts are with Keith, Jack and Lewis.

We are once again talking about "welfare" instead of social security. "Welfare" individualises state support, when what the UK built in the post-war years was a social security system which served our common endeavour. "Welfare" is the language of tabloids; it should not be the language of Labour.

The internet remembers 😂 @ollymann.bsky.social

I've been thinking about this hard and I believe the world really started turning for the worse when we stopped making swappable fascias for mobile phones.

Your SNP Group believes you should be able to see where your Council Tax is spent. Watch on Wednesday at 12:30pm using the "SL Committees" YouTube channel.

I'm glad my amendment to a motion was accepted today and the the council will no longer use Twitter/X (other than to share vital emergency updates). We can no longer ask our staff to subject themselves to hate and violent/sexual material on that platform when managing our account.

I enjoyed getting out on the doors with Stephanie Callaghan MSP and other Uddingston and Bellshill SNP members this morning. It's vital as local representatives to hear from residents about what matters to them. #ActiveSNP

You can't trust a word from Scottish Labour. I'd feel bad for Anas Sarwar after this five minutes of squirming if it wasn't entirely of his own making. Great work by Colin MacKay at STV.

@marcjenko.bsky.social was there something juicy in the Mhairi B episode? Stopped playing mid way through now doesn't seem to be in the feed.

1. My name does have between 5 and 32 characters. 2. What about people with longer or shorter names? 3. The actual problem was that my name has a hyphen. The is web dev 101 and I can't stand that we're still dealing with this in 2025.

🧵 Migration strengthens Scotland. It boosts tax revenue, sustains our NHS, and fuels businesses as employers and customers. Scotland is open, welcoming, and thriving with diversity.

Was out for a walk in Uddingston and took a notion to stop in at the The Rowantree Inn . There's not many places these days where you can sit with a pie and a pint by an open fire. Perfect for a day like this. #supportlocal

Forget Die Hard, is Zodiac a Christmas movie? 😂 🍿

Rutherglen Westminster constituents (including my Bothwell & Uddingston constituents), here is your MP being confronted with his own lack of principles Shanks was right when he wanted your vote & supported WASPI compensation. He's wrong now that he's in government & wants to brush 50's women aside

Nearing the end of 2024, here’s a handy thread keeping track of Labour’s “achievments” in Gov: 👵 Refused WASPI Justice Compensation 🚸 Kept 2 child cap & ‘rape clause’ 🇵🇸 Lack of recognition & open complicity in Gazan genocide ❄️ Winter Fuel axed for 10m pensioners 🏦 No bankers’ bonuses cap 1/🧵

#PMQs now: Badenoch going after Starmer on WASPI compensation is a bit bold. The Tories and Labour are two cheeks... sides of the same coin on WASPI compensation. Only the SNP have been robust in our support for these women who have been done wrong by the UK Government.

I'm at the stage of my Spanish learning journey where my social media algorithms have caught on. But unfortunately I'm not at the stage where I can understand the Spanish social media content I'm being served.

We can only hope that this is yet another promise Starmer's government will break. Labour's disrespect for Scottish democracy is astounding.

@marcjenko.bsky.social Listening to the latest ep. You sound bitter that you're in my 3rd place 😂 Love the pod, even if I am a weapon inspector (listening doesn't mean I agree with them tho)

Thanks to @glasgowtimes.bsky.social for covering this motion, I'm proud to have written it with Cllr Frame Vapes can play a role in helping smokers quit but they are now the primary source for new nicotine addicts Anything to keep these fruit flavour death batteries away from kids is worth a shot

🎅 Head down to Uddy Cross for Grow Uddingston's Xmas Fayre. There's a raffle/tombola. Free hot choc at the Church of the Nazarene I bought a wreath for my front door, a choc orange highland coo, tablet & a Muiredge/SJB tote bag Got something else but can't post that in case my wife sees her gift 😂

The SNP Scottish Government will introduce a universal Pension Age Winter Heating Payment, following the UK Labour government's decision to cut the Winter Fuel Payment to 900,000 Scots. "We will not abandon older people this winter or any winter" - @sa4dunfermline.bsky.social 👏
