I think the concept of capitalism itself requires exploitation. You can’t expect consistently more profits without taking advantage of people and the environment in the process.

As I have stated before, if the round-up of illegals goes unopposed, the political opponents will be next. And then, neighbors will denounce neighbors for suspicious activities.

I personally think most of them truly voted for him because they wanted to be allowed to be mediocre at best and still wield power cruelly over people they see as below them. They miss a time when they got to be default important.

That experience taught me how real and purposeful these visions of supremacy are for some. They’re voting for it—and not by mistake. 5/5

I stopped responding after that, but he kept messaging for a while, thinking I could still be "saved." Said I’d be happier at home, away from all these "worries." I think he was shocked when I cut him off completely. 4/5

It was the first time I realized some people know exactly what they’re voting for. No pretending, no excuses. He was very clear about his vision of America. 3/5

He laid it out: White Christian male supremacy was his goal, while he saw me as having "bought into the propaganda" of what we’d been told America was supposed to be. He said that was to control people and to make us think we are equal. That conversation opened my eyes. 2/5
