Oh, 100%. It’s not even cheating on a professional level if the game has the options built in. Some people might give you shit, but IMO, anybody who tries to tell you you’re playing a video game wrong is an asshole and not to be trusted. When it comes to games, get it however you can.

Depending on the game, you should be able to change the color of the reticle as you wish. Some even let you change the type of reticle. If you’re on pc you could even do it with mods.
