It was good to see EU, UK, and Georgian flags flying with the Ukrainian flags, we need to unite against the brutal, corrupt, dictators who are threatening the freedom of Ukraine and all Europe.

Good, and the UK will also likely make a similar announcement in the coming days.
Europe must unite against tyranny π¬π§πͺπΊπΊπ¦

Looks like #TraitorTrump is as much of a threat to the USA as to the rest of the democratic world.
The thing about autocrats like Putin and Trump, is that they don't care if almost everyone in their country is poorer as a result of their policies, so long as they and their cronies are richer.

If Boris Nemtsov hadn't been murdered by Putin he'd probably be speaking at the demonstration, or at another one somewhere else in Europe.

And of course quickly agreeing a much stronger trade deal with the EU could help boost exchequer revenue by a Β£10 billion or so.

Russia's frozen billions could fund much support for Ukraine, but tax rises on higher earners and/or multinationals will likely be required.
The Government could say that their pre-election tax pledges are no longer tenable in the radically changed circumstances, and who can argue?

We need to face up to the fact that Trump, as a corrupt autocrat, is ideologically aligned with Putin.
Europe needs to invest heavily in defence right now, and the defence of Europe starts in Ukraine.
See you outside the Russian embassy tomorrow π¬π§πͺπΊπΊπ¦

We all need to show our support for the people of Ukraine nowπ¬π§πͺπΊπΊπ¦
We need to show that we reject the lies and gaslighted of the Putin-Trump Axis.
Join tomorrow's demonstration outside the Russian embassy in London, and let those inside know exactly what you think of them and their murderous lies!

Show your support for Ukraine and democracy in Europe by joining tomorrow's demonstration outside the Russian embassy.
Please share this widely, we need to send our political leaders a strong signal, and show the people of Ukraine that we stand in solidarity with themπ¬π§πͺπΊπΊπ¦

We do it through National Insurance and tax, which workers on Youth Mobility Scheme will pay just like anyone else. Why should they pay twice?
There may be an argument for the NHS surcharge for retirees if they are not covered by reciprocal health schemes as is the case incthe EU.

Wherever we are, we need to mobilise against this threat to democracy.
And in Europe that means first and foremost standing with Ukraine.
March, write, donate, do whatever you can!
