I'm shocked as a child of the 80's and 90's to see no evidence of "Jason"

I’m newer to the hobby so I don’t feel quite plugged in yet. What are your thoughts on these? I’ve only played Flip 7 and it was just okay to me. Fun party game. I loved Yokohama so I’m excited to try Bomb Busters. Never quite sure how the big awards align with what players/designers think.

Guys I’m trying to work today. How am I supposed to go through and laugh at all these excellent references?

Absolutely the heart of the band. Primary lyricist. And he preferred to let Geddy and Alex have the spotlight. He didn't want to be a celebrity. Such a likeable dude.

Wow. "the fracturing of reality into a trillion indecipherable puzzle pieces has left us without an agreed-upon reality."
Never seen the internet described so aptly.

Doing it for the first time at age 33 would be impressive.

The White Castle is the Tardis of board games. How does so much fit in that box?!

Very true. At the same time, I appreciate when my game friends introduce me to new things that are adjacent to my interests and experience. It's helped me find awesome games I may not have gravitated to otherwise. Share what you love without being elitist.

I have recently shifted a considerable percentage of my recreational energy to board games. My mental health has improved. It's a hobby that feels more like a net positive than many others.

Scout and Trio are my go-to options for easy teach/learn but fun and some depth/strategy.

For every angry reply there are 1000 normal Bills fans just relishing a great win.
Social media isn’t reality. It’s a microcosm of the worst of us usually.

Great list. I like a lot of these too.
I would keep Carcassonne, Lost Cities, Cascadia, and Scout. I would add Azul, 7 Wonders Duel, Heat, Camel Up, Decrypto, and one slightly weightier game like Castles of Burgundy. Total budget of about $350 or so?
