Weird isn’t it Was always told Glasgow was a rough old place. I can say hand on heart I’ve always got on well & never had an issue all the times I’ve been there. Edinburgh Waverley on the other hand in recent times it’s hard work just being there. Back in the 80’s it was a great old place

The alleged nuclear site is almost 100 metres under ground Experts are already saying they’d have needed a fair few of the bunker busters to get anywhere near it. Unless Iran show proof that it’s destroyed then we’ll just have to take the orange one’s word for it šŸ¤”

Good afternoon I’ve fond memories of the the old girl that is Glasgow Central Even today it’s a wonderful place The staff have always been a cut above the norm too. Had a few class 86’s from there to the Midlands or a Seven down to Crewe for a connection Happy memories

01:15 & still sat out in the garden slurping tea & scoffing chocolate biscuits A more manageable 21c now Quiet except for the A42 0.5 miles away A distant owl is heard every so often & the revellers heading back after a night out

Put the garden lights on too (Ignore the washing lines) House is 29c now That’s the problem with an old house, it retains the heat even with all the windows open

Yeah that’s the one Neil Always stop there on way back from Devon or Cornwall. Unfortunately due to it being modern & spacious it was packed at 9am V popular with coach parties😬 It’s that or Michael Wood which needs flattening

Back home Did it in 3.5 hrs with a decent break at Gloucester Saw & became part of the Hairy Bikers Dave Myers bike convoy by the NEC in the M42 Thousands of bikers turned out šŸ‘ No doubt the man was looking upon the convoy from up above šŸ‘†

Was ok at the WSR today Probably the worst weather to do the line though The coach was literally a green house on a very hot day (27c) 🄵 The sat nav lied to me too Said about 50 mins door to door. Took me nearly 90 mins That was after driving like Lewis Hamilton on the M5 stretch too😬

First visit for us. Plenty of gradient changes Would’ve been nice to have a Hymek or class 33 along there. The Western (D1010?) was up on cradle stands minus its bogies otherwise I’d have said that too How hot it was I’d have been happy with the Hst & that air con
