A bolt action .22lr rifle is a lethal weapon. So's a .50 BMG machine gun. I'm not saying they're equivalent, but honestly if I can't trust someone around a .50 BMG machine gun I don't see why I should trust them with a .22lr.

TBH I don't care about banning specific guns.
What I do care about is Canada's gun licensing process. It's pretty good. Could be better, but it's not bad. I also care about our gun carry laws - there's very few circumstances where carrying a gun is legal or acceptable.
