I have been emailing House of Representatives senators, you name it. I can’t vote here, so it is all I can do…

John, @rburke.bsky.social and I are so happy for you! We needed some good news. It is wonderful news! I wish I could get a European passport, I am the only one in the fam that can’t. Congrats!

Manchester Uni uses FAAM a lot! The pilots are amazing, flying in the Arctic and the low altitude runs across the North Sea was fun. Being struck by lightning was interesting, we didn't realize the damage until we landed!

Really interesting study, you will be putting me out of a job soon ;-)

I am happy to add my Tof-CIMS to your list of instruments, JPL is pretty close to the Eaton fire burn area.

So far so good 🤞but so many friends & JPLers have lost their homes. Truly heartbreaking.

That is so interesting, we have been measuring N2O in the LA Basin for years. I should go back and look at the CLARS data….

I have just stepped down too

Finally landed at LAX, over 14 hours late 😞 Now just the 110 to contend with to get home.

I know!! We missed you at the ACM, there was lots of aerosol chemistry that you would have loved.

Grim! It is not raining in CA ;-) you should have come to the ACM. However, we did experience a 7.0 earthquake, which was fun. It was 180 miles away but the lights were swinging in the lecture theatre.

Really not sure what to say…. That thread doesn’t make for pleasant reading for a NASA employee

So funny, maybe a bit too close for comfort though 🤣

It is such a shame that MLS is coming to the end of its life, MLS has played such an important role monitoring the stratosphere over the years and would have made the link between regional and global impacts. mls.jpl.nasa.gov

So cool, but having “using” as the biggest word is quite telling. I need to get more inventive with my titles ;-)

Hi could you please add me to the Chemists list? I work at JPL and study the chemistry of the atmospheres of Earth, Venus, Mars and planets outside of our solar system. science.jpl.nasa.gov/people/perci... scholar.google.com/citations?us...
