It is. But it is definitely AI for good. I have never heard such a kind and detailed exposition of myself and others before. I am taking it as AIβs early Christmas present to us to make up for the other 364 days a year.
A Bluesky Kind of Blue: The Political Pundit Who Loves Dogs and Diving
A retired Democrat with penchant for classic rock and a social media presence that's equal parts humor and outrage. Imagine if your favorite uncle became an online activist, but instead of BBQs, he served hot takes on a platter.
π It's totally hilarious, the application spits out a whole page of analysis.
"Part professor, part pirate, all about saving our beaches and brains! Navigating the choppy waters of climate discourse with the flair of a rogue captain." ππ
It's AI. It doesn't "know" what you are. It generates combinations of words based on probabilities, based on limited text samples, and makes things up. It took the word "mandolin" out of my bio and says I play guitar...
"James swings a mean bat at carbon emissions, reminding us that avoiding responsibility is not an option. His posts are like a stern dad telling you to wear a helmet while riding your bikeβinformative yet oddly intimidating."
Hmmmm...
I think itβs flirting with me I meanβ¦:
Quirky, yet articulateβCameoβs posts serve a buffet of witticisms garnished with cultural references. Reading them feels like attending a dinner party thrown by Van Gogh. https://blueskyroast.com/roast/cameowood.com
"A delightful combination of eco-consciousness and borderline absurdity, Andyroz is the type of friend who will debate quantum physics one moment and drop a fart joke the next" π€
Loving mine. Freshwater whisperer with a secret skill of 'keeping a straight face while talking about cow poop'. Alarmingly accurate....though I do like the pub analogy!
Fabulous! - for me βFrom research to rewilding, sheβs soaring through social media like a butterfly in a spring breezeβ Sounds lovely on a cold wet York December day!
Thank you for sharing thisβΊοΈ It was the pick-me-up I needed today!
My favorite snippet:
"Writing Style -
Chuck's posts are like a chubby squirrel on a cold winter day: a bit frantic, a bit humorous, and entirely relatable...."
π fun!
I'm "a delightful blend of ecological wisdom, relatable humor, and a touch of political fire."
"Imagine a butterfly aficionado who carries a knitter's basket into political debatesβletβs just say, it's an interesting tapestry."
Although now I wish I hadnβt done this.
I should have known itβs not good for the planet, I didnβt stop to think or check before doing.
Future learningβ¦ donβt add to carbon pollution for a whim.
I knew I made a lot of puns and trivia/crossword references in addition to talking about sustainability, but I was less aware just how much I talk about charcuterie and food
is it based on tweets from the old place too? Since I left Elons enshittfication I seem to have been replaced with a imposter me who tweets about football ! (Def not me)
It's enough the same - especially if you combine avatar image search and bsky adress over there . (Less interested in migrating old tweets, I interacted less and less as it got worse)
Literally what I was thinking! Iβm such a curmudgeon about AI and I kept muttering, well, this isnβt so bad, and feeling like a traitor to my own values. Augh. Iβm so torn!!!
Hehehe! I love it. Although I am very confused by the "occasional meatball fiasco" π€£.
South Korea?..
"Alanβs writing style veers from poignant to playful faster than you can say 'climate crisis.' Itβs like a rollercoaster that drops you into a dad pun at the end of every hill."
Climate change wrapped in a burrito of... sincerity!? I think if it's a roast the sincerity is supposed to mean like trying too hard or something? Or is AI just bad at Errr wait am I overthinking this? I'm doing the thing right now!
I can see how the metaphor meant as a compliment. You are indeed skilled at communicating climate change in a way that is digestible and easy to understand (i.e. easy to consume like a burrito) and wrapped in sincerity reflects your honest integrity; we can rely on what you say because itβs sincere.
I mean I love that so much and appreciate the kind words (yours I mean) but I am just stuck on how this is called a roast? Am I being too literal or is it really badly named or does AI not know how to roast?
Iβm guessing the latter; this particular AI application doesnβt know how to roast. It seems more programmed to patronize in a clever way, taking advantage of our egos and confirmation bias.
Regardless, a few descriptions in this thread feel pretty accurate; albeit, undoubtedly, incomplete.

Doesn't share muchβmysterious or just shy?
π©
May have a secret life as a hermit.
"Part professor, part pirate, all about saving our beaches and brains! Navigating the choppy waters of climate discourse with the flair of a rogue captain." ππ
That's actually a bit eerie in its accuracy.
You can just start calling me Mr. Wizard.

βImagine a water nymph wielding a protest sign while quoting Mary Oliverβpure magic!β

Both are great
I've owned 1 in my lifetime, but it is now long gone.
(Other than metaphorically)

What this AI can do...
Combining a kernel of truth with a touch of humor. I feel honored by this characterizationβ¦
Give it a trialπ
That is actually barely a roast which I think sums me up π€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ

This was fun and, uh, semi-true?
Wow, I'll take it. Oh, apparently I'm also the Eco-Hero you didn't know you needed.

I'll politely decline.
Yes, I'm that boring. π
I might put that on my CV.

And although it kinda does lean a lil more towards the more recent posts, it's somewhat horrificly accurate...^^

However, there is a tool called blue Ark that you can use to migrate your tweets over to blue sky if you so desire
Great fun though.
Uh... I think it MIGHT have a little bit of a bias toward the last few posts in the feed?
