'Frozen, fabled, polar world' plants thought seeds in many different directions-for me it ushered in a memory of the 'Snow Queen Tale'. I also liked speaking 'seafoam green scales shaking' out loud -it's a cool tongue twister! The ending 'he knows she wants him back' - wonderfully unexpected!β¨

'Wiping lonely insidious poverty tears' has really got to me. A beautiful poem throughout...

Thank you Mark, that's so very kind of you. I'm glad that you could relate to the poems. I've been on such a journey maybe you and your friends have too... I'm excited by what you are doing in your poetry. When I think of your work, it always strikes me as being fresh, overcoming & innovative.

'With diamond streams back in my eyes, we're rolling again'. Beautiful line. An inner feeling to aspire to and look forward to. π

Love this and the realization in the last line.

I enjoyed the 'six eyes flick from side to side, and the bristles on their chins, twitch'. I can imagine hearing this spoken out loud and it builds momentum here and works really well.

βMaybe heβs as hunted and harassed as I am too?β flips everything. The threat becomes mirror, not monster. Gorgeous ambiguity! #KeepWriting #PoemsAbout #WolvesAtTheDoor

'Ripping apart the ligaments of memory with dull yellow teeth'. A powerful, thought provoking image. Was interesting for me, to think about how, the teeth though dull, were able to do so much damage.

'Pelted and pawed' she entered the night. Effortlessly rolls off the tongue. Nice.

'Thirsty and blind' -
a tragic predicament. But lovely reconciliation at the end. 'a flower, a fruit, a rainbow after rain'.

'Let me assure you bunny moons, it's not spiced with sin..' lovely melodic rhythms in this!

I like the graphic sensory imagery, all very striking, I also found the way it begins with 'a cupped palm reaching out', very effective, it is almost like this image reaches out from the page to the reader too.
