Star Trek, DC Comics, Tolkien and Pratchett universes (all sci-fi+fantasy) are my thing… I was there painting D&D die-cast miniatures when it was born. 🖖🚀🧙♂️🦸🏻♂️
Sadly, politics now too... and I mean SADLY!

Who’s going to pay for the damage to the vehicle and ALSO the trauma of being terrorised whilst going about your business which is a civil right?

They can think what they like. Gibraltar was a very unique case for obvious reasons. Spain has no will to alter any of the other issues as they pertain to the UK’s Brexit and it’s for the UK to sort itself out in that respect. Spain deals with Spanish issues + its commitment to the EU.

I genuinely think he took us further than we were at. In this country we suffer from over marketing and product placement where football is concerned especially. We have very good players. But so do many others and possibly better. So I never understood the expectations.

Without a doubt he will always be an almost mythological individual in the history of the Italian game.
But the “Golden Boy” was this special character.

One day in the future everyone in this country will understand what we had and what he achieved (and could’ve eventually achieve). Only then will many feel ashamed of how he was treated imo.

I doubt that one can be bettered. It holds all the essentials of everything and anything Star Trek has always portrayed itself as.

This is a fact! But the question that beggars is why it would be necessary to state that which I agree, it is necessary.
Here within lies the issue I constantly go on about and the foundation of our major virus.

Back when they disrespected Gareth Southgate and his incredible revolution of the England nation side (the most successful England manager ever... FACT!), I said that they would one day rue how they treated that man who left in the most dignified manner.
I don't subscribe to entitlement!

The only way the EU should accept any barrier release with the UK is through ultimate faithful alignment with the European Union.
i.e. the Customs Union (minimum) or the Single Market.
Obviously that's taking rules and the correct way to go for the UK is rejoining the EU. 🤷♂️
Facts.

When exporters stop exporting, then you don't get a real story on any of this. It's the middle (to upper) classes that purchase most European and foreign goods that aren't associated to US products manufactured in "Asia".
The brunt of "making do" will be being seen already and more so imminently.

90 million decided they didn’t need to vote in the US.
(I didn’t enjoy typing that btw)
You guys had a democratic exercise, an election and tbh, Harris was pretty convincing. 🤷🏻♂️

Law works via precedents... that's how law sets reformed law and firms around the country will be observing this intently.
But I agree with you... Whatever happens, her 'punishment' will never be comparable to you or I embroiling ourselves in blatant national scale corruption.

This one has been one of my pet wishes for quite some time. She is absolute scum and a huge part of the problem on why so many in this country (stupidly) moved into supporting populism. Her, Johnson and maybe one day, Farage are the people I'd LOVE to witness being taken to task.

Trump is a narcissist!
If Musk humiliates himself enough with public apologies and unreserved support in Trump's current actions, Trump WILL take him back because, he's a narcissist.
Trump has actually done this before.

Trump has spoken about the movie and tv industry on several occasions and has put people to work on the coercing of Hollywood etc. It's not just this of course, because practically every studio is suffering which makes all of that easier to execute. I'd rather not have Trek until Trump disappears.
comment in response to

Everything is pretty uncertain right now on every front with Paramount Studios (+ many other studios). There's also the influence of Trump's administration and his demands which WILL be having an influence and we all know what Star Trek is historically ISN'T the ethos Trump likes.

They burn books in the US. You made an assumption that I'm not intelligent enough to comprehend Anne Frank's Diary.
Maybe I should've searched you out first and asked your permission with the points I feel are quite similar in 2025 TWENTY TWENTY FIVE The 21st Century in the United States of America

Now you're creating a defence mechanism out of an self made implication.
Everyone also has their own ability to dissect and analyse. You made a blanket statement with a very disrespectful start to your response. You don't HAVE to agree and you CAN make that point politely. Hence my forms.

Don't be such a simpleton and so visceral in your reactions.
The rest of us can also read and we don't burn books in Europe.

It's not only what all of this signifies for the US and the American people, which is awful to be observing. The total unadulterated collapse of their democracy.
But if I were from Canada, Mexico, Greenland etc... I'd be scared now! All this is leading up to exactly that!

“Woke” es la definición en el diccionario. Básicamente es tener conciencia de las injusticias en la sociedad sea quien sea.
Eso es un hecho!
Pueden pretender bastardear la palabra, pero el significado siempre será uno de dignidad. 🤷🏻♂️

Good US citizens have a long hard road ahead of them without a doubt. But it’s a fight that must be had without a doubt and it needs to be consistent.

This is the main transfer I’ve been wanting for Arsenal since last summer. This genuinely seals our midfield into one of the best in Europe if it’s confirmed. Zubimendi is world class in what he does and together with Rice it’s an elite midfield.

We used to have a Scottish governor at the Highbury Barn Tavern many years ago. He would point blank refuse to serve you (ask you or accompany you to leave) if he fathomed in any way shape or form that you brought hate to the premises of any type. It was simple... GO! YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE!

My roots are from Galicia and a fare share of my family emigrated to Barcelona back in the early '60s and others to Buenos Aires and New York (my parents to London). All of my cousins speak Catalan almost singularly. I would say they all integrated. It's all a fallacy to produce suspicion and hate.

And it's that which turned the city's economy (the entire of the Catalan economy) into what it is today. Without it Barcelona would basically be a regular city today.
There are many things that fuel all of this, none of it nice in any way.
