Star Trek, DC Comics, Tolkien and Pratchett universes (all sci-fi+fantasy) are my thing… I was there painting D&D die-cast miniatures when it was born. 🖖🚀🧙♂️🦸🏻♂️
Sadly, politics now too... and I mean SADLY!

Without a doubt. It’s incredible that he is the ultimate fool in all of this. Not that it worries me to think about him that way considering he’s just another ex-Eton alumni that has no connection to 99.9% of the population and their plights.
Without a doubt he attempted to save the Tories.

Tbh, I haven’t had editorial headlines thrown at me throughout all of this time going back to the 2016 Referendum. But obviously, it doesn’t take a magician to know they’ve been conditioned and groomed into a cult.
But!
We do have to ask WHY this was ever a possibility!

Spanish Customs were deliberately very bad. They weren't bad elsewhere at all. (I know... I spent my whole life travelling to Spain every year since the early '70s)

Without a doubt!
I can visualise a Gibraltar eventually (many years) down the line being an authentic independent state free of any attachment to either England or Spain (Andorra exists in perfect unison).
Scotland? This is a very different story right now as you say. It's self imposed.

I get where you're coming from with that statement and fundamentally you're correct in terms of what Westminster signifies UK-wide. But London isn't the problem at all... It's actually middle-England and pockets in the south-east and south-west.
You'd find that "London" mostly supports Scotland.

The only ideology that's gonna offer anything resembling that is a left leaning one. NOT an authoritarian "sort yourself out" government.

possibilities as a nation? I tried so hard. I put before them the hard facts and the possible consequences. They would generally be the ones that would throw “it only benefits the better off with their holiday homes abroad” and some of this FBPE didn’t help back in 2019 when there was a chance!

Without a doubt. It’s a cliché to say that I fell out with so many lifelong friends due to this. Although in saying that, those were the ones I never fathomed had certain beliefs that are far and away from mine (you get my drift). But the rest that genuinely felt the EU was hampering our

A fair number of those that I know voted Brexit feel disenfranchised with anything it all means. Yes, many were/are ignorant to the benefits EU membership brought to the UK, but they may have been willing to listen if they didn't feel that many remainers were living a Middle Class elysium.

Exactly!
That which is affecting the UK economically + so much more is far and away from all that encompasses FoM. In fact FoM practically doesn't figure in the functionality of the United Kingdom and it is THIS fact that burns me so much. It's so selfish an tbh, it's WHY many wanted Brexit.

Do you think it's because the only thing that genuinely finds them down about Brexit is their freedom in EU states?
Not about the damage it's doing to this country.
I would love to witness if they would continue to be as vociferous if they gained what they want and yet the UK continued to suffer.

I bet your PM isn't going to speak to him the way Trump did across the border. No fake pictures of another country applying some false claim to who you actually are in your own country.

Exactly. This means that Spain control the other half of the Gibraltar Stretch. Aside from being a piece of knowledge to have in these cases. It's just logic too.

The purposeful misconcenption that this was about the UK and not the issues surrounding Gibraltar and the fact it has a border with Spain.
"I want it to be about me!"
or
"Can it please also be about me so I can gain some benefits!"

Who’s going to pay for the damage to the vehicle and ALSO the trauma of being terrorised whilst going about your business which is a civil right?

They can think what they like. Gibraltar was a very unique case for obvious reasons. Spain has no will to alter any of the other issues as they pertain to the UK’s Brexit and it’s for the UK to sort itself out in that respect. Spain deals with Spanish issues + its commitment to the EU.

I genuinely think he took us further than we were at. In this country we suffer from over marketing and product placement where football is concerned especially. We have very good players. But so do many others and possibly better. So I never understood the expectations.

Without a doubt he will always be an almost mythological individual in the history of the Italian game.
But the “Golden Boy” was this special character.

One day in the future everyone in this country will understand what we had and what he achieved (and could’ve eventually achieve). Only then will many feel ashamed of how he was treated imo.

This is a fact! But the question that beggars is why it would be necessary to state that which I agree, it is necessary.
Here within lies the issue I constantly go on about and the foundation of our major virus.

Back when they disrespected Gareth Southgate and his incredible revolution of the England nation side (the most successful England manager ever... FACT!), I said that they would one day rue how they treated that man who left in the most dignified manner.
I don't subscribe to entitlement!

The only way the EU should accept any barrier release with the UK is through ultimate faithful alignment with the European Union.
i.e. the Customs Union (minimum) or the Single Market.
Obviously that's taking rules and the correct way to go for the UK is rejoining the EU. 🤷♂️
Facts.

When exporters stop exporting, then you don't get a real story on any of this. It's the middle (to upper) classes that purchase most European and foreign goods that aren't associated to US products manufactured in "Asia".
The brunt of "making do" will be being seen already and more so imminently.

This one has been one of my pet wishes for quite some time. She is absolute scum and a huge part of the problem on why so many in this country (stupidly) moved into supporting populism. Her, Johnson and maybe one day, Farage are the people I'd LOVE to witness being taken to task.

Trump is a narcissist!
If Musk humiliates himself enough with public apologies and unreserved support in Trump's current actions, Trump WILL take him back because, he's a narcissist.
Trump has actually done this before.

Trump has spoken about the movie and tv industry on several occasions and has put people to work on the coercing of Hollywood etc. It's not just this of course, because practically every studio is suffering which makes all of that easier to execute. I'd rather not have Trek until Trump disappears.
comment in response to

Everything is pretty uncertain right now on every front with Paramount Studios (+ many other studios). There's also the influence of Trump's administration and his demands which WILL be having an influence and we all know what Star Trek is historically ISN'T the ethos Trump likes.
