To be honest, there was already effectively no phone service. You could wait hours and never reach a person. The agency had been either woefully understaffed or terribly dysfunctional for some time.

It is horrible. I waited on hold for 2 hours last year before I got someone. The next 2 times I’ve had a question I didn’t get through at all. The last time, the recording just hung up on me.

USian here. Most of my friends are not smiling, they’re grieving and furious at the morons who voted for this and scared to death about what comes next. We want to throw up when we hear Trump’s bullying. He’s bullying people here too.
