That is the colour my face goes if I turn to face the sun for too long....or is that Apricot? πŸ‘ πŸ˜‰

I have never heard of it before but will be on the lookout for it now. πŸ™‚

I love Wimbledon Common. My grandparents used to take me there regularly (to look for Wombles and have tea at the windmill) when I was little. Nice to hear the Chiff Chaff singing his little lungs out. As always, thank you for sharing.

Unfortunately, I never saw the Alarm, but saw Mike Peters with Glenn Matlock and Kirk Brandon when they played Birmingham as Dead Men Walking (about 20 years' ago). Very sad news about Mike ☹️

I have always struggled to do mornings (I am a complete night owl), but will have a go this as I know it will be worth it.

SΓ me here. I have been owned by 8 cats in my life and without exception they have all done this. I even double filter the tap water now to remove the chlorine smell, etc., but still they prefer pond, puddle or stagnant watering-can water. Bless them. πŸ™„

Thank you and good morning right back at ya. It's beautiful sunshiney morning here in the Worcestershire and a perfect day to get my washing out....oh, the excitement 🀣. Enjoy whatever you plan to do today. Xx

Exactly my first thought. Them two = stuff of nightmares. 😨

A happy hurkle-durkler right here. πŸ™‹

That you have to even consider this scenario is horrendous. My heart goes out to you and your family, and others in the same situation. Xx

This is why I love all animals but hate some humans. What despicable little cretins some people are. ☹️ 😑

Good. Someone stole mine, so will be splashing out on a replacement after all these years. 😁

Oh, this is lovely to see. Brilliant picture and video and thank you again for sharing. πŸ™‚

If he does, he can be sure I will be part of the 'welcoming' party, again. Proud to have been stood alongside the inflatable baby Trump last time.

Awwww, great pictures and the fluffy gosling pictures have made my Friday - thank you. Interesting that the Coots have come so close, as they seem to avoid humans around my way (perhaps it's just me?) 🀣

It's a Dolly Whirl. 😻

Looking forward to it and finally (recently retired) won't be sitting in a freezing cold, air-conditioned office staring out of the window longingly at the lovely weather outside. Thanks for the update and hope you enjoy it too. πŸ™‚

Not sure I can even compete with your 'nailed it' puns, let alone think of Trumpisms. 🀣

Thank you for solving a mystery. We were wondering what was growing (self-seeded) with the Forget-me-nots in our garden. Now we know it is a wild Geranium. I hope yours is as lovely as the one nature gifted to us.

Steve and I share many traits. Alcohol and chocolate = the perfect combination 🍺🍫 🦦😍

I have read both and they are excellent. Enjoy!

....(2/2). Because I am a bit crazy about cats, I use the dates they choose to celebrate their birthdays with small gifts (usually food treats) and a tin of tuna with a candle in it (keeping it away from them when lit). Yes, I am mad, but I don't care. Happy belated birthday wishes for Betty.

For the cats I adopted previously but didn't know their birthday, I let them choose by putting small pieces of paper on the floor with months and then dates. Whichever one they put their paw on first became their birthday. Our vet was able to provide an estimated year of birth (1/2)...

Awww, beautiful. I hope Tank finds a home that love and deserves him. So great to see him having fun after what must have a painful and scary experience for him. 😻

OMG. I don't like the sound of this at all. How bloody dare they. I have a family member with severe autism, but thankfully she lives a full and supported life without fear of such registers in the UK. I hope it doesn't come to it, but start making plans to get family back to the UK. Xx

I am not at all religious, but am sorry the Pope has passed. However, I am really happy for the Pope and people of faith that he was able to be in attendance for the Easter Day service and even travel through the crowds in Vatican City yesterday. I'm sure this will mean so much to so many people. x

I said the exact same thing when I heard the news just now.

WHAT? I am so out of the loop these days. I had no idea they were doing (a thorough) tour of the UK, let alone playing Birmingham. Damn it. Annoyed I missed them but pleased they put on a good show. I need to listen to Maniacal loudly and repeatedly now.

It's clearly 'Paws-up' Friday. I may shortly take the same approach as Archie.

Thanks for putting this up. I have yet to see a wren in my garden, but this clip confirms the deafingly loud critical interjections I receive when I am gardening are indeed from a wren. πŸ™‚

I had that Smash Hits (I had most of the editions up to 1986 ish). Has to be Duran Duran for me. I had that 'Last Chance on the Stairway' lyrics page blue tacked to my bedroom wall. However, I love Japan too. Thanks for taking me back in time πŸ™‚

Blimey, I think mum otter is my old swimming teacher reincarnated, but with added cuteness. "If you don't swim you'll drown".
