Happy 20th Birthday to Gratitude (self-titled) 🎂🎈 Released on 8th March 2005. One of my favourite non-Far projects from the legend, Jonah Matranga.

Today's early morning 10K run 🏃 was soundtracked by: earthtone9 - arc'tan'gent. (continued...)

Today's early morning 10K run 🏃 was soundtracked by: Chevelle - This Type of Thinking (Could Do Us In) Much like Sevendust, Chevelle are one of those bands that are very consistent. They don't stray too far from their core sound, but it's always excellent. (continued...)

I just went to make dinner and realised that I had left the hob gas on (low)... since yesterday. 😮 I also found chips in the oven that I forgot to eat. 😂

The Mars Volta just kicked off a US tour supporting Deftones, and apparently their set consisted entirely of a brand new album that's not out yet. Nothing else. Ooooft.

Happy 30th Birthday to Quicksand - Manic Compression 🎂🎈 Released on 24th February 1995. An excellent follow-up to their debut album 'Slip', and their last album before a very long hiatus. What are your favourite tracks from this one?

Today's early morning 10K run 🏃 was soundtracked by: Liberty 37 - The Greatest Gift. I've posted about Liberty 37 before - a hugely underrated UK band from the turn of the century that you might not be familiar with. (continued...)

Many thanks to Mike Ficklin for featuring Caustic Waves on the latest episode of his podcast, Leitmotif and Movement (@leitmovepod.bsky.social) The song 'Regenerate' is part of the 'Art of Discovery' segment, and the main topic of the episode is Sevendust's 2003 album, 'Seasons'. (continued...)

3 years of CAUSTIC WAVES! 🎂🎈 Today marks 3 years since the launch of CAUSTIC WAVES! On 16th February 2022, I set up social media profiles and registered with my music distributor, ahead of releasing the debut single, 'Regenerate'. (continued...)

What was Sean Connery's favourite sport, and what time did he like to play at? Tennish.

When I was listening to System Of A Down earlier (Suite-Pee), I realised that, thanks to Philomena Cunk, I will now always hear "Let the messiah go all through arseholes."

Today's early morning 10K run 🏃 was soundtracked by: System Of A Down (self-titled)

Today's early morning 10K run 🏃 was soundtracked by: Every Time I Die - Radical. The final ETID album, and what a way to go out. Riffs and grooves aplenty, and 'Thing With Feathers' is simply a beautiful track, featuring Andy Hull from Manchester Orchestra.

Today's lack of 10K run 🏃 was soundtracked by: Further Seems Forever - Hide Nothing Unfortunately I wasn't able to get out for my usual 10K run due to sickness - some sort of throat infection. Send hugs. Instead, I was curled up in my bed with one of my favourite albums ever.

Now watching: Sevendust - Southside Double-Wide (Acoustic Live) I've been meaning to rewatch this for ages - it's probably been 20 years since I last watched this DVD!

Today is wah-wah day. I've been looking forward to this! 😀🤘

Today's early morning 10K run 🏃 was soundtracked by: Alexisonfire - "Watch Out!" I had to postpone my usual Saturday run due to the storm. Although the weather was fine today, I had to change my usual route due to a tree blocking the path!

I just got a random DM saying: "Your music is amazing! Each song wonderfully expresses emotions and tells a unique story!" My excitement lasted all of 5 seconds, when I discovered their profile says "I AM A PROFESSIONAL DIGITAL MARKETER AND MUSIC PROMOTER EXPERT". Sake.

I'm off to see Better Lovers / Frontiererband / Greyhaven tonight. Those new earplugs I got for Christmas are going to be essential. 😀🤘
