I started reading that book shortly after if was published, when I was in my late 20s. I didn't get very far in it before I had to stop due to terrible nightmares. Now we're living it. The nightmares are worse and unending.

So it's not a crime for someone to save the country by going after trump & musk it would seem. By "going after" I of course mean Jack Smith, the J6 Committee, and any other brave souls who take action to stop these traitors to our country and our Constitution. What's good for the goose...

I have a countdown app on my phone. I pray that this countdown is off & he'll be gone sooner.

My brother in Camarillo was issued an evacuation warning a couple of days ago due to the heavy rains approaching and the fire last Nov. that came as close as burning down the house catty-corner to his.

As someone who's originally from CA but now lives in WA, I'm hoping this will extend to the entire West Coast. I also want to find the GoFundMe (or whatever it is) where they're collecting contributions to the cause -- I want to donate!

Shameful of the GOP. Other nations should be flipping the switch today to cut the US off from collaboration with their intelligence agencies. Longtime agents should be considering leaving – and obtaining new identities.

I was convinced the day after the election. There is no way he could have won every single swing state. Certainly not by those margins. Statistically speaking, that is virtually impossible. In addition, there was the suppression of 3.3 million ballots.
So, why no demands for a recount/audit?

And apparently South Africa's in his sites now, too, because he feels they don't treat white people well. Or maybe it's Leon that feels that way.

Yep, that too. And he plans to keep it all for himself and his girlfriend, Leon/Elonia

LA may not have recovered enough to actually host them in 28. Instead, I think the entire world needs to boycott the USA.

Oh, heavens - what did I miss now by refusing to watch the news? This Sunday I hit 65, my Medicare birthday, and the felon wants me to starve? How? Can I at least have my birthday cake for my last meal?

He's not just "becoming" a dictator - I went to the White House website out of curiosity & was sickened by what I saw. He's already a full-blown dictator. Democracy is no more. I didn't expect it to happen so quickly, but here we are, living in a true dictatorship just 2 weeks after his coronation.

I have a large box full of them, unopened. I used to live in a town that has smoke from fires pollute the air every summer and we had to wear them then, too.

I read about this - even tho' he's a convicted felon, as president he will travel under a diplomatic passport, with diplomatic immunity. Supposedly, because of that, he will be allowed in other countries that want him to visit. Now wanting him to visit is an entirely different subject!

Yes. I expected that the news media would fall, but I thought they’d at least pretend to put up a fight. It’s happened faster than I thought it would.

I’m so glad my high school English teacher mom passed away a couple of years ago. It would be too cruel for her to live under yet another term of the felon & be forced to witness what he’s doing to the profession she spent 50 years in. It would break her heart.

Definitely "rational" is not word ever associated with the felon!

... "for a while"... that leaves me with some hope I'll be able to get vaccinated if need be!

I'm so sorry to hear that about the billionaires (any one in particular? Maybe one who loves the nazi salute?).

Sorry -- if it helps, I say that in Canadian 😊 Also, I go on Medicare next Sunday. Several of my medications aren't covered and are so expensive that I'll have to stop taking them. My insurance guy told me to get them from Canada since I can afford them there. Again -- Sorry.

I'm lucky to live fairly close to the Canadian border. My plan (with fingers crossed) is to get across and find somewhere that will give me the vaccine. I'm sure I'll have to pay for it, but it's Canada so it'll be cheaper. 🤞🤞🤞

I don't subscribe to the NYT so I can't read the article. What's going on?

I've been wondering why he's so adamant that the U.S. OWN Greenland, not just "rent" space & steal resources. I wouldn't be surprised if he wants it for a gulag to which he can send immigrants, or maybe "American" prisoners in order to clear prison space for immigrants who will work as slave labor?

I went through 4 years of insomnia the last time, and here we are, just 5 days of his idiocracy, and I haven't slept for 2 of them. Any way you can get us into Germany for the next 4 years, Rick?
