US ties it up. Unselfish play from Luna sets up the equalizer. DSC got a piece of it.

Tani scores for Canada. 1-0

Shoot. If I didn't have stuff to get done today, I'd be all over it.

Presumably a working class neighborhood? Idk seems like a weird thing to say.

Tbh it's honestly probably what they deserve. They're playing a "competitive" game on home soil and you can't even get a decent crowd. The TV broadcast is buried on a subscription service. They suck and nobody cares because nobody is watching.

All that to say, USMNT v Panama is on Univision. As we all know, soccer is more exciting en español!

I watch it on Roku but I'm sure it's available elsewhere too.

Bongi couldn't have hit a better pass there.

I understand. It's nice to not be alone in the unreasonably infuriated club.

I'm guilty of that one. I'll try to cut back on it tho.

Related but different, variations of "let's be clear" have been used to death imo.

Lock's spot starts in Seattle a year or two ago kinda have me interested. Plus, the video of him on the sideline in Denver is fun. Idk hopefully it doesn't matter tho.

Agreed.
If you had your pick of them, who do you prefer?

Mac Jones is 26. Drew Lock is 28. Mariota and Jameis are 31. Heinicke and Brisset are 32. There are other options, too, but these are the guys I'd be most interested in.

I think everything is predicated on how good/ready they think JJ will be. If they want to play it safe with him, then I would anticipate a semi proven vet type. If they want to be more aggressive with his timeline, then I think they'll go cheaper/younger on the backup QB and spend more elsewhere.

Jacoby Brisset, Marcus Mariota, Taylor Heinicke, and Drew Lock are available options.

He's 37, gotta wonder how much is left in the tank at this point.

I saw something the other day about Europe shifting to Eutelsat, idk anything about it but according to a cursory via on Google it could eventually be a competitor.

It's been fun. I've really been enjoying it so far. Nether has provided a nice return to the dreadnaught and it's really been neat finding all the secrets. Would have been nice to have all the audio but given the circumstances it's understandable. All around quite good.

Thank you! It'd be a nice end to the weekend.

It's my birthday and so far this weekend my teams are 0-4 that means the wolves are due for a W or that my birthday weekend is cursed from a sportball perspective. USWNT can salvage too but ideally both win.

That he had was able to salvage an NBA career in spite of the wolves actively trying to ruin him is a testament to the kind of dude he is. Forever one of my favorites.

He also played with one of the most atrocious rosters ever assembled which could not have done him any favors. Imagine a young Ricky on this team.

Right. I mean even if Mike was playing well you still gotta play Rob. At 37 your days are numbered and if Rob is the future you gotta let him play thru some stuff so he learns. The kids are alright and having them play/get exp is only going to help long term.

All of this is spot on. Love Conley but at this point he's a liability. I don't think he made a shot last night, 4 or 5 fts but that kind of production just isn't going to cut it.

Agreed. F united.

I text a buddy last week but it's wild to think that kids under like 15 probably don't know what a wagon United used to be.

He's on my team. Obviously he has flaws but he has plenty of utility.

It's honestly a pretty phenomenal sports weekend. USWNT last night, Wolves tonight, Chelsea (and the prem in general) and MNUFC tomorrow, and then Wolves v OKC Sunday night.
