Right - Is this story real or not? The Guardian carried it; I believe them to be credible. I don't understand why this story isn't getting more attention.

This is it. Who’s left inside the Pentagon to take charge of our country?

Yes. This. I used to think that a military takeover would be the absolute worst thing, but now I’m hoping for it.
I’m not at all clear though on the thinking of reasonable minds who remain in the military at high ranks. Hoping they’re quietly talking with government officials (of both parties).

As the parent of a grown visually impaired son who depends on the MBTA in Boston, I find these comments both maddening and offensive.

Absolutely correct in that it’s not about Democrat vs Republican any more. It’s about whether or not one wishes to live in a democracy.
For me, it’s MAGA vs the opposition. Or the resistance if you’d prefer.

My iPhone is always with me when I’m out running, which is why I’ve always carried the smaller SE. Wasn’t there some discussion of a flip-phone coming back?

With every response like this it’s evident to me that he’s just a figurehead. The Project 2025 folks & Elon are in charge now.

Maybe all of us reregister as Republicans and wrestle back democracy that way…. IDK, the above makes me sick to my stomach.

My anxiety over press freedom is through the roof. There has rarely if ever been a time where reporters on the ground are more important than they are now. Citizen journalists evidently are making up the deficit.

They are, however, performing a state capture. Whose side is the military on at this moment?

Maybe this isn’t a military issue but as of this morning, what’s the mindset of decent career military people who are still working?

As of this morning, where does our military stand with all of this?
