I would also like to put Briala into consideration. She deserves a gun. Elven rights.

I see a lot of good answers in this thread but raise everyone else that it should be Dorian fuckmothering Pavus, if only so he can say gay rights in Tevinter. That would be the plot of Dragon Age 5.

we need a nebula for transsexuals who can't afford talent agents. a means tv with wider doors and 200% better marketing. a vimeo that doesn't charge you hundreds of dollars if your video gets viewed too many times. a youtube... that *isn't* for nazis....... dream big

This state-centric 'left-campism' isn't new (apologists for left-authoritarian states). But today's online version often takes a more syncretic form – blending left anti-imperialism with right-wing/populist tropes online.
It's less 'horseshoe theory' and more a distinct, often incoherent, hybrid.

I also love the inclusion of the native photo editor. You can just take a regular screenshot, but there are also some basic filters and settings to play around with. Pretty great stuff, the devs really cooked and deserve their flowers.

I've seen some pretty beautiful games before. I like some of the lonely tundra visuals under the northern lights in Skyrim. I like the softly glowing flowers in Elden Ring. I regularly think about the Divine Palace in Sekiro and the darkened streets of New Mombasa in ODST. But this is up there.

He also misrepresents Geppetto's capture by Monstro (the whale) because Geppetto is swallowed while at sea. Monstro swallows the boat he's on. It's pretty simple.

"Whales are carcasses" no. whales are whales, whale bodies become carcasses when they die. is he stupid?

...and this, further, is where the undeniable becomes denied, because while the Reality Principle reigns supreme in theory, in practice it is in those circumstances where power becomes greater than truth that we choose "Alternative Facts."

Ex: if you could explain to a certain kind of man with pure, undeniable mathematical certainty that beating his children creates worse outcomes to the point of having an actual dollar cost attached, he would still do it, because he is making a purchase. He is buying their fear and his authority.

And that's neglecting the fact that anti-trans views have been elevated well beyond how popular they are. They haven't been deplatformed. They've been enabled. This is a human rights threat rationalized as a reaction to mean tweets. Remind you of any other current political movements?

Helen's point would only work here if there was some avalanche of victimization of cis women by trans women. But statistically there isn't. So this, "You shouldn't have attacked us," is really just a misogynists Look-What-You-Made-Me-Do rhetoric.

TERFism is frequently the domain of cis (and usually het) white women for this reason, for who else could equally adopt the posture of a potential victim who must be safeguarded while also being in truth a perpetrator weaponizing their own victimhood?
