I think honestly a lot of people are frightened by the terminal. They don’t know how to use it and are worried about accidentally doing major damage by typing the wrong things.

I think it goes to show how far gone we are from technology as a means for human progression and how instead it’s entirely a means for profit. We created a device that can take you to anywhere you can possibly imagine, but they want you to use it to shop at Walmart

Do you have any idea how we can combat misinformation, disinformation, and a seeming rise in anti-intellectualism here in the US? It feels like a lot of faith in not just governmental but nearly every established institution has been lost and I'm not sure how we'll regain that trust

I ended up doing it in one year on a 4+1 program. I'm glad I got the experience because it was very rewarding, but career-wise it hasn't helped me much yet. I honestly think the delay in entering the field caused me to miss the window of opportunity had I just stuck with my BS
