🤷♂️ my opinion is that it’s going to happen, and it’s better if it’s front loaded. New players to the game should know there are combinations where it’s just “I win unless you have removal in hand” sooner rather than later.

It would have been 4.5 stars if I didn’t get duped into buying and playing a buggy open world game. A buggy open world game where cyber psychosis IS OF NO CONSEQUENCE. When it’s a big shadow looming over the anime story.

I’d argue that whole scene works better that way. Just the smooth slide of the face behind him, leering. Asking David if he and Alice did a horizontal tango.
Even when Trigger cuts corners, they do it with panache.

Trigger got really good at hiding when they wanted to cheap out on the animation budget (which they do to fund much more epic segments). This is not an insult.
