I'm mowing the grass in the garden for the first time this year (I'm taking it in sections so my not!allergies don't get too amped up and bring me down with a horrible migraine) and the cats keep coming outside and looking around forlornly like they don't recognize it.

I bought a little potted rose a while back to bring in some color to battle the winter greys, and I just repotted it into three separate roses because there were three of them in the pot! I'm going to let them stay in the pots over the summer and then maybe plant them in the garden in the fall.

My grandfather would have had so much less work weeding and prepping the veggie garden for spring planting if he'd had raised beds. These eight beds took me about two hours to clear and prep today and I was not focused on what I was doing.
