it was heartbreaking to me when disney let me know they wouldn’t sell it to streamers because it would cost more in lawyer hours to make the deal than they would profit.

That is heartbreaking. Such a strange thing for Disney to say too, considering all of oddities and niche content on Disney+ and Hulu that they are likely losing money on. Nevertheless, the Middleman lives on.

I’m less upset about pirating of old tv shows and movies than I am about old books.

Oh yes please, thank you! When the Middleman first aired on ABC Family, I purchased each episode on my Xbox 360 and if I go into my media browser on my Xbox, they are still there!
