In 1970 someone in the richest 0.01% was 42x richer than the average person. In 2000 they were 600x richer than the average person. Now it is over 2000x. Making the rich richer, makes YOU poorer.

Being right isn’t enough. Telling people what’s right isn’t enough. Polling that shows people know what’s right isn’t enough. We need to unite around what’s right. We need to vote for what’s right. We need to stand for election for what’s right. We need to enact policy for what’s right.

America, please impeach this moron and put him behind bars.

Nigel Farage defends allowing US chlorinated chicken into UK as part of trade deal. Farage/Reform want US style insurance-based healthcare; lower food/environmental standards, worker/consumer rights; return to gold standard, benefit cuts. Who in their right mind wants this.

I’ll tell you who would have LOVED the new ‘Prove You’re A Woman’ ruling from the UK Supreme Court: Wayne Couzens. The policeman who murdered Sarah Everard.

In case you're wondering... it's been 17 days since a reporter was added to a Signal group chat where our government officials were sharing war plans. And nobody has been fired... Don't stop talking about SignalGate

“He made 2.5 million today and he made $900 million. That’s not bad.” Sounds like market manipulation to me. That’s bad.

I hear the people saying "Starmer is playing a clever game". But he isn't. The USA is not a stable ally, and in all likelihood won't be for a generation. It's not just Trump, it's the entire ecosystem that supports him. Trying to maintain "normal" is not clever politics. Building a new normal ...

Just Trump admitting he crashed the economies of multiple countries to enrich himself and his friends. Where’s fraud-hunting DOGE when you need it!

What privatisation has done to you.

Quite literally whitewashing the purpose of the Underground Railroad www.washingtonpost.com/investigatio...

Just posted about this bastard facing zero punishment despite being CONVICTED of rape because it might “harm his future” as a medical student. HE IS STUDYING TO BE A FUCKING GYNAECOLOGIST.

I will remind people why things got better in the early 20th century, the workers organised, they went on strike, they refused to work unless they got what they wanted. The richest had to cave in, because you actually have all the power. It's time for it to happen again.

White British males, like it is 83% of the time.

We took over the giant screen at Farage’s big rally in Birmingham

Labours cuts aren’t just unachievable (Osbourne delivered less than half of his) but contributing to a hostile uneducated perception of mental health and neurodivergence. It’s as contemptible as it is stupid. It’s weak, panic driven and indefensible. They won’t just fail, they will never be forgiven

When Labour loses the next election at least Keir Starmer and Rachel Reeves will be able to look back fondly on how they pointlessly stuck to some self-imposed fiscal rules and stubbornly honoured an ambiguous and increasingly stale 2016 mandate to steer clear of the customs union and single market.

I've spoken to so many people who voted Labour last time who now say 'I'm not even going to bother voting in the next election'. Labour is haemorrhaging voters while Reform is racking up huge numbers of support. I can't believe Starmer is intent on losing the next election.

"Poverty in Britain exists not because we don't have enough money to satisfy the needs of the poor, but because we don't have enough money to satisfy the greed of the rich." My bit for @bylinetimes.bsky.social on wealth tax and the new austerity. www.bylinesupplement.com/p/russell-jo...

Richard Bacon, 'Labour have been hamstrung by its own fiscal rules" "I wish you were more radical" "The NHS is broken.. School funding is broken.. The Courts are broken.. Transport is broken.. Thames Water is broken"

Alan Sugar, "Brexit was a total absolute disaster, and anybody who says it's not is deluded" Amol Rajan, "What do you think it would take to get this country growing again?" Alan Sugar, "Go back into the European Union"

NEW: Nigel Farage is once again in America to fundraise for Donald Trump’s Republican party, with latest data showing he’s spent more than 800 hours - the equivalent of 2.5 days a week - on outside employment since election.

My Unfiltered Initial Thoughts On Labour’s Cuts: The patronising spectacle of people on over £91k per year (plus expenses) providing more cruel hoops for the vulnerable to jump through, was despicable. Then to paint it all as some kind of moral crusade? Fuck off. youtu.be/mZxmdhKMPC0

NEW: Save the Children says it is worried more children with disabled parents will fall into poverty as a result of today’s welfare changes. 870,000 children live in families that receive Personal Independence Payments and 290,000 of these children are already in poverty.

We’ve officially entered the Twilight Zone: Sir Bean—a former Bank of England bigwig and monetary policy grandee—is now the one defending the public from cuts… being mooted by a Labour chancellor. Next up, Jacob Rees-Mogg leads a general strike.

Press Briefing & Terrifying The Poor. Regardless of what happens tomorrow this has been handled shamefully. Could just make our lives better instead of whoring for the press that works for their opponents and radicalised far right votes. Just a thought. youtu.be/QPXdlocipys

It was never about free speech. It was never about free speech. It was never about free speech. It was never about free speech. It was never about free speech. It was never about free speech. It was never about free speech. on.ft.com/4bBYcXC

Good if it happens, but what an unholy shambles www.theguardian.com/society/2025...

Disabled people don't get 'too much' of any resource. Working age people don't get 'too much' of any resource. Pensioners don't get 'too much' of any resource. Poverty, deprivation and early death impacts us all. The money is everybodys money, and there is enough money to care for everybody.

You have $100 in your checking account. One day, you check your balance and it's $60. You haven't made any withdrawals. You call the bank. They say $40 was taken as part of their "waste, fraud and abuse" program. Would you be ok with it? Coz it's happening to your social security and Medicaid.

I wonder what the disabled people did to the Water Companies, Energy Companies and Supermarkets to make them so bad? Or maybe it isn't the Disabled People.

Once again, proof positive that a key feature of the monied classes is endless, spineless whining.

Outstanding work

People are arguing what the Labour Party is about. This is their first ever Manifesto. This is what it is about.
