When I was in England, everyone asked me if I was from Canada, and after the umpteenth time this happened, I asked why no one ever asked if I were American. The said that was so they didn't insult me in case I was Canadian :) Next time I go I will definitely be Canadian.

It's a shocking adversarial system here. I had good employer insurance, but there are still loopholes in coverage. It you have emergency surgery in a network (covered) hospital but a non-network anesthesiologist assists, his fee it's not covered. You obviously can't check in an emergency.

Be careful if you do get another one. It can work if you choose carefully, but they do best in male/female pairs, as same sex dogs can be aggressive at times. If you have one alpha female, choose a more mellow male Otherwise, they are great in pairs if you supervise carefully at first..
