Is he comparing himself to hitler? How ignorant is he?

The leopard hits yet another maga group.

This affirms my decision to stop watching cable news last November.

I think you’re right but he’s also canceling payments and contracts. I don’t think there’s precedent for this. It’s irrational.

Common sense should tell even the most ignorant that cutting billions in spending across agencies within hours of gaining access to databases is not the way to find/reduce waste. It’s arbitrary and capricious, destined only to gut the functioning of the agencies. That of course is the intent here.

I know. Every time my phone pings with an alert these days my stomach drops.

I have to stop reading such things before bed. Have barely slept in a week.

He’s destroyed almost everything of value in our society in less than 3 weeks.

What a shock that a nazi who benefited from apartheid hired a racist eugenicist.

Oh I’d love to see her in prison finally with her father, brothers and husband.

I truly believe they’re soulless and evil, while also stupid. The first two because they have no empathy. Stupid because so many MAGATs are going to be seriously harmed by his actions.
comment in response to post
I seriously don’t know how these Magat Senators and cabinet picks can sleep at night. How can so many people be sociopaths?

I haven’t worked for the federal government in decades, but that letter seems to be oddly written. Strangely informal. Are Musk’s little boys writing them?

Well done! I hope you’ll be able to fully secure the data they already accessed/stole.

My coffee maker wouldn’t turn on this morning (a fancy shmancy Nespresso) and I went into full blown panic. Tested the outlet, plugged into different outlet, falling into dark place along the way, and suddenly it lit up. I can survive another day of this hellscape.

Finally voting no on one of these appalling nominees? How do you justify voting yes on Noem? So disappointed in you, Senator.

The Republicans created this tragedy. They are more than just complicit. But we’ve long known that they are corrupt, cruel and terrified of Trump. We can demand that a few grow a conscience and a spine. But they won’t. So we’re begging the D’s to get to work. They’re starting. But they took too long

Did it many months ago. Do not miss it at all. I will miss Threads though when I finally leave it. I know I have to.

I don’t think we import anything from Russia at this time.

So Magats are not being completely shielded from the news. That’s something.
comment in response to post
We haven’t seen any unintended consequences yet.

Absolutely legal and peaceful. No disagreement from me. But who knows how long what is legal today will remain legal? Sorry, I’m losing any shred of optimism.

I get that but I think it’s the wrong place.

They’re not even trying. All they have to go is follow the McConnell playbook.

What’s the point of protesting at state capitals? The state AG’s are the only elected officials to have taken action. We need to pressure Congress to act. Go to district offices.

I joined yesterday. And wrote to corporate to tell them why.

I assume they’ll still have access to the live feed? They should air or print the key content with immediate fact checking that they wouldn’t be able to do effectively live in the room. Turn this barrier into an effective weapon. He just talked over the legit press anyway.

They’ve done more than just play along IMO.

This is terrifying. We need a strategic plan. Where is our opposition leadership?

What is Gillibrand doing to merit your trust??? I see no resistance from her.
comment in response to post
She is not on here. I wrote to her last week and received a form response that didn’t in any way reflect the subject of my message — which was to stop voting yes and start fighting back. Schumer’s office didn’t even acknowledge my message but I’d prefer they spend their time fighting back. If only.

They’re going to start measuring the bumps in people’s skulls soon before distributing resources.

I can’t “like” your reply. But unfortunately I agree.

Yes and that’s why it still offends me that National Airport was named for the man who fired the air traffic controllers in 1981. Treated them with no respect just like the 🍊is now treating all federal workers. I hope we don’t see more failures like last night’s crash.

Disgusting. And I also don’t like the singular “child.”

As in “the dead tell no tales?”

Gross. But that means the full Independent Counsel report can be released.
