(2/2) text on the players screen, wait for input, then move onto next animation, then pop up new text on the screen, then wait for input, then move onto the close-out animation?

I'm a newer developer, am I understanding the use cases correctly: the animation player plugin thing you can use to say, use nodes/scripting / your visual builder system to do complex animations like say, an in-game cutscene? Like it would go: Play this animation, then wait 10 seconds, pop up 1/2

My goodness, that is so cool! Any way you can share how you implemented something like that? I'd love to save that info for later whenever I decide to get around to creating my own creator page :)

For my first tutorial vid I want to do I basically want to throw up lines of code, and then break down visually on the screen each specific part like : this is a method, this is a property, this is a function call, these are parameters & arguments and heres how they pair .. etc.,

(2/2) handholdey to the point of copy & paste, or they breeze WAY to quickly over certain parts, assuming that the person watching is well-versed in how everything is structured & works in code. I'd love to see any resources that have helped you!

I could have written this thread, word for word! I'm on the very edge of understanding coding concepts and object-oriented programming. And the tutorials are severely lacking for us! My plan is to create content to address this. Most tutorials are either 1/2

On project organization, a concept I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around right now is script organization.. specifically, when to use inheritance and when to use composition-based approaches. So anything related to your thought process' on that aspect would be appreciated!

Hey buddy! I downloaded that and popped into it, and I'm not sure if I downloaded the wrong thing from Git or what, but when I ran the game it was almost like, incomplete? There was no enemies, and the room transitions didn't really work. The checkpoint system seemed to work lol..

More additions to the space the merrier I say! Since there are quite a few platformer templates for Godot, it might be a good idea to add a little extra something to yours? Like say, a dash? or a double jump mechanic?

Thanks a ton! I'm a new dev and having code to reference is going to be a huge help! Anything that ends up getting used/referenced will be given credit :)

Of course there are leakers everywhere, contrary to what the state regime media would have you believe, not EVERY SINGLE PERSON in the administration and it's agencies are on board with the fascist dictator shit.

Imagine: You're a top official at the Pentagon. You've served your country for years, even decades. You have to give up your office for this guy because he wants a room dedicated to a Foosball table. He is your boss.

If this was a thing, it is not an unrealistic prediction to make that the amount of 'suspected fraud' reports would be equal to that of the votes received for the left.

My brother in Christ, these facts that your peddling here just kind of muddy the point, don't they? Facts are unimportant UNLESS they support the argument.
