As someone looking in I find it terrifying how quickly this has happened & how complicit people are. The media in UK are doing little reporting on it and I’ve seen little to suggest that Americans are actively standing up for women and minorities etc. it’s got real WW2 vibes.

The media played a massive part in this. It’s terrifying the power that the news and social media platforms have on people. There seems to be no critical thinking about what’s shown, just an acceptance that because it’s on a screen it must be true.

I really don’t. My placements so far have been adult - mainly in community LD which I enjoyed immensely but I know dysphagia is part of caseload. Final placement is paediatric so I’m keeping an open mind.
I’m really interested in aphasia but haven’t any experience in stroke

It’s a service that works with children at home, school and nurseries with variety of slcn. Start 2nd week of Jan for 11 weeks☺️
