I would be so mad if I were out running errands looking a whole mess and this dude rolled up to do a pop-up concert.

People are blaming the sun, but the sun ain't nearly as destructive as choosing the wrong man. Not even with all-day UV force.

When people call "collecting comics" a hobby, I actually don't think twice about it. Because I put that in the category of stamp collecting. But engaging with the work isn't a hobby to me. If you buy comics just to read them, I see that as no different than buying a movie ticket.

Racists have to get used to (1) people in close proximity being different from them and (2) people of color doing the same things white people do. Like display flags from their motherland. We should not be changing our very normal behavior to make fascists comfortable.

To raise a Mexican flag in LA or a Haitian flag in Maimi or a Chinese flag in NYC is to make a statement. And that statement is that all of this is a double standard sprouting from racism. Because no one says anything about the European flags that blanket our cities.

She was going to ride that case all the way into the hearts and minds of the conspiracy theorist TikTok moms. Rebrand for the white girls.
