I remember when he once said that he would give a huge sum of money to solve world hunger, and organizations calculated the amount- which was within his offer- and said, "do it." Instead, when he got government oversight, he ended world food assistance and many other safety nets.

Just a note for those who wish to cozy up to Elon. Elon could have used Twitter to needle Trump about the situation in LA while aiding those on the ground by providing a place free of government interference to interact and distribute information. He did none of that.

I wonder if the reason why people who voted for Trump are getting little to no pushback from the media is because there is an assumption that nothing is more dangerous than an embarrassed racist. But I'd argue that coddling a racist is why we are in this situation to begin with.
