Unfortunately, moving forward they will not show up for town halls or do a zoom without interaction. That is what happened in 2017.

Most people are oblivious to what is occurring. Be the leader you want to see. Get your friends together in your town. Pick an issue. Make your community aware. Stand in the Gap for those who are being harmed. All of us can do that. We will not be ignored.

Ukraine was invaded by Russia. Europe has provided more support to Ukraine than the US. Zelensky has an approval rating above 50%. Those are facts. Trump sounds like a Russian. Believe facts and not propaganda.

Finally, do support national groups and institutions as your time permits. However, politics is truly local. So make it about people, not parties. Community building. Post on blue sky what you are doing so we can share ideas. God speed. (End)

Sixth, as your group grows, divide and conquer. Spin off groups who will take on another community issue ..like school lunches. Resist the urge to centralize. Remember our power is in being annoying gnats and addressing how the draconian agenda harms our community (7)

Fifth, get creative. Marches are great, but is there something you can do that will be different, capture more attention, and possibly get press coverage? Make sure to reach out to TV news when you take action. (6)

Fourth, pick an issue important to your community. Avoid "fight against fascism" because alot of people don't know what that is. Pick something like cancelling telephone health. Give that issue faces from the community that are affected. Demand local politicians help to solve the problem (5)

Second, I call this the gnat approach ...you know how an overripe fruit creates hundreds of annoying gnats? We need to create local push back groups. The dispersement of the push back makes it extremely difficult for Trump to use force to stop us. (3)

Be the leader you want to see. We wait for elected officials, but they are rarely leaders. They are reflectors of their constituents. So, locally, become visible. Invite people to join you and begin to grow in numbers. Fight back with local stories. Use your agency.
