Thanks very much and thanks for the follow. I’m still on FB too, but that’s more because of the groups I’m in than anything

Hi Verity; we followed each other on Twitter; I’m missing lots of people too; some are on Threads and I’m guessing some are still on Twitter/X

Yes, really enjoyed it thanks; Betton Grange is a bonny machine!

I was there yesterday; I’m guessing the weather’s a lot better today, apart from the wind!

It’s been difficult to know what to do for the best since leaving Twitter/X Jenny. Hope you’re getting over your lurgy by the way☺️xx

I didn’t drive when I was out yesterday but most roads looked clear, although the road up to Hook’s Car under Stanage looked pretty tricky

Thanks Jenny, it’s rare to see the Peak District quite so icy and snowy!🤗xx

Yes, the weather in Edinburgh was reasonable; I think the council were worried about setting things up in the strong winds the day before🤗xx

Haha, very similar!

No dire weather warnings then I bet; just a weather forecast!

It’s possibly because it’s unique amongst heritage railways with its double track section.

If you can get there on a gala weekend, even better!

One of the best heritage railways in my opinion and really will hit the big league when connected to the northern section!

Thanks Jenny; hope you make a success of it on here; I’m also running an account on Threads in parallel. I hope you have a good Christmas☺️xx

No, Kim is not on here, nor Threads; I think she’s probably still on Twitter/X. BlueSky is like Twitter in many ways, but I’m not finding much interaction; I’ll keep persevering!😃xx

Yes, I’ve been blocking lots!

I agree it was definitely a bad idea to close the avoider, also March to Spalding. Guess at that time they had no idea the route would become an important freight route

Cheers Jed, thank you
