Thanks for the reply, Chris! This data is from this survey of 2,000 people which yields about a 1% margin of error at these proportions - so this is indeed a significant increase over 5 years! Moving in the right direction!! πŸ’ͺ

Great question! There is some evidence that putting plant-based alternatives next to meat in stores (rather than their own plant-based section) does increase sales! Some vegans don't like to go in the meat aisle - I have seen some stores put PB options BOTH in a PB section AND next to meat! 🧠
