Also, Newhouse voted to impeach Trump the 2nd time. Two of our GOP reps in WA did. Jamie Herrera Butler, lost her seat. Newhouse squeaked through. He's a hardcore conservative, but might be reachable. I've talked to the office a couple of times. His staffer even called me back.

Yep, that Dave Reichert. He has skated on "I caught the Green River Killer' ever since. I went to a candidate forum when he was running for Gov. It was a R event - he was vile in his comments & attitude b/c he only thot R's would be there. So glad he lost. I support Ferguson who as AG took on DJT.

I don't fault her support for the Palestinians. I did not support the stance of Biden, & Kamala had to toe that party line as VP. But I knew darn sure that DJT would be merciless to the Palestinians so I still felt good voting for biden. My heart hurts for victims of zero sum games played by both.

What guardrails we had were largely removed by Citizens United v FEC in 2010. What was left were removed on July 1, 2024. Since then, even during the last 5.5 months of the Biden regime, adherence to the rule of law has been cosplay.
