@seanferrick.bsky.social on a separate note, my Trek binge with my girlfriend continues. We just finished “The Offspring” and “Sins of the Father” last night. Between crying and WTF moments, she is starting to enjoy Star Trek: The Next Generation a little bit better. Or so I think LOL 😂🖖🏻

Ever since I lost cable during the Peter Capaldi era I’ve been unable to get caught up on Doctor Who and the few people I know in my life spoil it for me so I’m not sure if the series is worth getting caught up on anymore 🤷🏻♂️

Also x2 if they were going to destroy the 1701-D, instead of the Duras sisters I’d have destroyed the ship at the beginning of FC and found a way to get the crew to fight the Borg from there. A complicated idea to be sure, but I just felt the D deserved a better fate (pre-Picard anyway). Again, me 😅

My Browns are stupid asf and shot themselves in the foot. TWICE!! ✌🏻 If they wanted a great receiver or TE for offense, they’d have picked Tyler Warren. Seán I finished the video, and I’m with you on that. I’m surprised that whole battle wasn’t a big down to be honest. I mean yeah special effects were awesome but other than that it sucked. Data’s emotions, the VISOR bit, the Enterprise just “fleeing” the whole battle, all of it. Yeah 1701-E but 🤷🏻♂️🙄

Although now that I think about it, an up for the crash landing scene though 🎬 I doubt we’ll ever see effects like that again with models and whatnot. Definitely my favorite part, but it was badass. 🖖🏻

At this point in the franchise it wouldn’t surprise me if they continue to retcon things as this series goes on. They’ve already vamped up the Gorn, moved the goalposts in regards to when the Eugenics Wars started, & they’ve even updated the Klingons again and retconned Enterprise’s Phlox (1/3)

Per @espn.com. This is something that has been an issue since the merger of the XFL and the USFL last year (hence the UFL we have now) and it is something that hasn’t been resolved 100%, so until it does, things like preseason games and league expansion are going to be on the back burner for awhile.

Lack of funding and coverage from the major sports networks probably affects this though. I agree with you that they need preseason games and an expansion of the league etc. but without the money, not sure how they’ll accomplish that. #ButThatsJustMe 🤷🏻♂️🏈 #UFL
