In the sense that I'm only considered worth keeping if I help the company turn a profit, and they undercompensate the work I do and monopolize my time, I've been exploited at every job I've had 😄 People exploiting people is unfortunately how society works

I feel like decreased literacy is the goal, easier to control people that way.

Fantasy... preferably not courtroom/Game of Thrones type stuff though. More with an adventurous bent, and if it crosses over with other genres like steampunk or horror, all the better.

I can usually write A to B okay and then edit the rough stuff out. This time, it's ALL rough stuff trying to escape in all directions and I have to go back and re-write big chunks instead of advancing in a linear fashion and I'm entirely unused to it 😅

As an older guy, I like to tell people that no, I haven't grown out of gaming, but I HAVE grown out of movies. They do not like it 😄

I was told by a specialist back when I was 39 that I "have the heart of a 70 year old" and it's gotta be at least 80 by now... so I agree... aging is BS 😅 But I'm not complaining either. You just keep on keeping on.

I wonder if anyone's ever created a law which they intended to follow themselves.
