I’m still processing David Lynch’s passing & am surprised at the public outpouring. His work was often poorly received at the TOR (see Ebert’s reviews), often benefitting from the “reassessment” treatment. I’ve never encountered art that made me think so deeply. Truly a maker of “moving paintings”.
